February 3rd, 2023 – The EU committee proposed a new regulation in December, 2022, on mini-shampoo bottles and throwaway cups that aims to further reduce packaging wastes. In Rocker Scientific, we’re also evolving and developing more sustainable solutions when it comes to packaging. Starting from this year, ROCKER is replacing their packaging boxes to eco-friendlier cartons.

Simplicity is the core idea of ROCKER’s new carton design. It simplifies not only from its modern look, but also the printing and surface finishing processes, which includes eliminating the use of PP lamination. With the water-based ink, these new carton boxes are also lower in VOC and non-toxic. “We’re still in search of more eco-friendly and innovative buffer materials. It’s planned to make all our packaging materials recyclable by 2025.” Said Tina Huang, Product Manager of Rocker Scientific. One step further may not be enough to achieve sustainability targets, but ROCKER is keeping in steps.
